MissionsSt. Paul-Calvary UMC MissionsCommunity DinnersSt. Paul-Calvary sponsors a free monthly dinner for the community. Meals are scheduled at the end of each month. See the church calendar for this month’s date. Come, get a hot meal, and a bag of bread to go!
Habitat for HumanitySome gifted members of St. Paul-Calvary often volunteer for Habitat for Humanity projects. These projects entail building new homes and doing some major home renovations for others.Helping Hands MinistryThis group’s ministry is to aid members of the church family and community with small work projects, such as painting, decorating, lawn care, etc. See their link on this site for more information.Family PromiseSt. Paul-Calvary has just joined with 10 other churches to help plan and implement a Family Promise network in the Williamsport area. Family Promise is an ecumenical effort to provide housing for the homeless on a weekly rotational schedule. Room and board are provided along with listening ears and caring hearts.Food PantryLocated in the church, our small food pantry helps community members with emergency food supplies. See the church secretary for more information.Missionaries – The HooversWe prayerfully and financially support the work of Dr. J. Jeffrey Hoover and his wife Dr. Ellen Titus Hoover. The Hoovers are teachers of History and English in an English speaking school in Zambia, Africa.Missionaries - The MadisonsWe prayerfully and financially support the work of Dan Madision, his wife Talicia Madison, and children Connor and Sophia. The Madisons teach at a Christian School and work to spread God's love all over Lima, Peru. Click Here to read the latest news from the Madisons.Mission CentralMission Central is a mission collection and distribution agency within the Central Pennsylvania Conference of The United Methodist Church. It is located in Mechanicsburg, PA. We financially support this ministry, and often collect various items for health kits, school kit bags, flood buckets, etc. We also send volunteers to work at Mission Central and its Williamsport Hub at Sojourner Truth Ministries.
